EVENT DESCRIPTIONS

(On or near International Overdose Day which is August 31st) – This is a memorial march and live performance art piece that includes the family members who have lost loved ones to substance use related causes. They carry a tombstone of their loved one through the streets only to lay their loved ones tombstone against the city wall and chalk an outline of their own body in solidarity with their soul lost too soon.

This is an event created and hosted by the Turkow family to raise awareness and create a community space for those impacted by addiction. Each year, all proceeds are donated to Truth Pharm to support those seeking recovery.

(on the first Friday of September) Through art, music and projections hosted the same day as Binghamton’s LUMA Festival, we celebrate recovery, and honor loved ones lost.

An annual fundraiser with a mind reader, magicians and a discussion about how addiction affects a person’s brain.

Annual golf tournament where we have live music, basket raffles, door prizes, and a dinner to follow.
