COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Truth Pharm will help communities interested in being proactive and progressive in their approach to the overdose epidemic mobilize to reduce the harm from problematic substance use. Truth Pharm helps these communities form an Action Committee and create an Action Plan: a framework of services and events to raise community awareness and to help correct the identified deficits.

In partnership with the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy, School of Sociology and School of Social Work, we created a curriculum developed from the feedback of individuals impacted by Substance Use. The curriculum is delivered to practitioners in an effort to improve health care delivery systems.

Garden of Hope (GOH) is a monthly community education event open to the public. It is an educational offering on varying topics related to Substance Use Disorder. We also provide Overdose Recognition and Response Training at the end for individuals in need.
